Who We Are
NTA, Inc. (NTA), located in Huntsville, AL, is a growing company focused on providing technical services and support to a variety of Department of Defense Agencies. The majority of NTA’s workforce supports the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC) on Redstone Arsenal.
NTA personnel actively participate in the research, development, integration, demonstration, and evaluation of various missile and aviation system technologies with a focus in navigation, guidance, and control. NTA has extensive hands-on experience with navigation, guidance, and control systems including the following: inertial sensors/systems, Global Positioning Systems (GPS), Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) test beds, Six Degree-of-Freedom (6-DOF) simulations, mission computers, fire control systems, control actuation systems, target location systems, Radio Frequency (RF) and Semi-Active Laser (SAL) seekers, control theory/guidance laws/autopilot, Kalman filters, transfer alignment, gyro-compassing, flight data recorders, Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) and Versa Module Eurocard (VME) board design and layout, Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) with Very High Speed Integrated Circuits (VHSIC) Hardware Description Language (VHDL) embedded firmware, and precision machining. NTA’s core competences include system integration and test, modeling and simulation, electronics design and packaging, mechanical design and precision machining, test and evaluation, software development, exploitation, algorithm development, specification development, and automated test equipment.
