NTA is a member of the following consortia supporting DoW research and development:

The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Aviation & Missile Center (CCDC AvMC) has established an Other Transaction Agreement (OTA), the Aviation & Missile Technology Consortium® (AMTC), to engage industry and academia to develop and mature guided missile technologies to develop and transition US Army aviation and missile manufacturing technologies, and integrate advanced technologies, techniques and processes into future effective weapon systems in support of US Army and DoW weapon systems. AMTC enables rapid research, access to innovative commercial solutions for defense requirements, and innovations from non-traditional industry partners.

The National Armaments Consortium (NAC) is the industrial/academic component of the DoW Ordnance Technology Consortium, an enterprise established by the Office of the Secretary of Defense to serve as the focal point for ordnance system technology research and development to address DoW’s long-range science and technology objectives.

The Maritime Sustainment Technology and Innovation Consortium (MSTIC) engages industry and academia to develop mature technologies in the field of Maritime Sustainment that enhance the Navy’s mission effectiveness.  MSTIC enables rapid research, access to innovative commercial solutions for defense requirements, and innovations from industry, academia and non- traditionals.

The Naval Energetic Systems and Technologies (NEST), in partnership with the National Armaments Consortium (NAC), is a national collaboration supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) to address the most significant energetics and explosive ordnance disposal challenges facing the Navy, the Marine Corps, DoW, and the Nation.

The Naval Surface Technology & Innovation Consortium (NSTIC) advances naval surface technology innovation through a consortium that researches, develops, tests, and integrates complex naval warfare systems across a broad range of technology areas and disciplines. NSTIC enables rapid research, access to innovative commercial solutions for defense requirements, and innovations from industry, academia and non-traditionals.

The Training and Readiness Accelerator II consortium is a collaboration executed under an Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) with the U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) to address critical modeling, simulation, and training (MS&T) issues affecting national security. The consortium’s mission is to develop modeling, simulation and training related prototypes to enhance the mission effectiveness of military personnel, and the supporting platforms, systems, components, or materials proposed to be acquired or developed by the DoW.
