GMLRS

NTA has been involved in the design, implementation, and testing of the GMLRS autopilot and guidance algorithms from the very beginning of the program. Recent experience includes upgrading the guidance and control (G&C) algorithms to accommodate various new missile components (new motor, tail-control CAS, etc.). NTA participated in the design of the entire control actuation system (CAS) for the tail-controlled CAS variant of GMLRS. We also developed a standalone testbed for the GMLRS CAS for stockpile reliability testing. NTA has supported multiple science and technology programs that integrated seekers onto the GMLRS platform. For these technology demonstrations, NTA provided critical expertise in the development, integration, and testing of target state estimators. GMLRS is one of the most-used precision strike weapons in the US Army’s arsenal, and NTA is proud to have contributed to its success.
