NTA’s CNC facility is currently machining a large portion of the LowER-AD missile’s control actuator systems. The shop’s engineers and machinists are working hand in hand with teams that designed the CAS section to ensure all parts are produced to very specific tolerances. The shop has been meeting tolerance goals on fin-to-actuator interfaces as low as .0001”. In the past, our customers have not been successfully in achieving this level of precision when sending designs out to industry for machining. The direct interface between engineers and highly qualified CNC machinists at NTA is what sets our shop apart from the rest.
